However, we would appreciate a call preferably 24 hours in advance, as we don t want visitors clashing with customers collecting or dropping off animals, we would prefer not to keep you waiting.

Bookings

Telephone bookings must be followed up by a booking form and deposit of 1/3 of the overall total of the stay, this must reach us within a week of the initial booking to enable us to reserve a suite. Cancellations must be advised as soon as possible and deposits will be forfeited if we are not able to re-book the complete period booked by you.

Please see our printable booking form for more details on our Terms and Conditions.

Bedding

Vet bedding will be provided which gives our guests a nice cosy feel. If you would like to bring some item of clothing that obviously would have a familiar family smell in order to add to the cats general bedding that will be fine.

Vets

Should the need arise we will endeavour, wherever practical, to use your own veterinary practise. If this is not possible we will use the veterinary practice we have used for upwards of twenty years. In such cases we will expect your practice to liaise with ours in discussing your dog's or cat's medical history.

Who Pays the Vet Bill?

K-9 & Purr-fect Sleepover will cover injury sustained related vet bills whilst our guests are staying at the kennels and cattery. Veterinary bills incurred through unrelated or pre-existing conditions, diagnosed or not, will be the responsibility of the owner.

Medication

We will be only too happy to administer medication to our guests with their various treatments free of charge provided you bring the necessary medicine or tablets with you.

Computer Records

We keep a record on our computerised system of all our guests and their owners, this information is for use by the kennels and cattery only and details will therefore not be passed on to any third party.

For Dogs

This section of the website is currently under construction. Please check back here for further information for pets and owners visiting the K-9 Kennels.

For Cats

Food

Our guests will be offered two meals a day (or more if requested) of wet food, remember to let us know on the booking form what they are used to at home. This way we can avoid any upsets caused by a change of diet. Our guests will also have dried food, of their choice, available for those peckish moments as required.

Uninvited Visitors

The less "feline-attached" uninvited guests we have the better; and with the best will in the world, we do get the odd 'free-loader . We would therefore really appreciate it if you would treat your cat for fleas a couple of weeks prior to arrival. Not only will the cat feel more comfortable, but it also saves us from being classed as lunch for the little hopping devils literally! Worming is something that we respectfully request you attend to a couple of weeks prior to your cats visit.

Health

A current vaccination certificate against, at least, Feline Respiratory disease (flu) and Feline Enteritis is required. A full course of vaccination must be completed TWO weeks prior to boarding and we will need to see the cats original vaccination certification with the up to date information noted by the veterinary surgery. Please remember, yearly booster vaccinations need to be kept up to date.

Micro-chipping

It is always a good idea to have your cat micro chipped. This is a quick procedure that can be done by your own vet and is a way or reintroducing a cat with its owner should it become disorientated with new surroundings when moving house. This is something that we feel will never be a requirement whilst our guest are on holiday with us but it is something that can be of great benefit anytime in a cats life.

Un-Neutered Males

Sorry, but we prefer not to accommodate un-neutered males over 6 months.

Cat Contentment

While you are away your cat deserves accommodation and care where he/she will be welcomed, well looked after, happy and content. Confidence in your cattery will enable you to enjoy your break with peace of mind for that chose Purr-fect Sleepover.
